High School English Credit

Starting 9th grade in the fall, I'm concerned about the Rod and Staff Building Securely portion of Grammar credit. I love Rod and Staff BUT based on Rod and Staff's Scope and Sequence Chart it is a 7th grade level program, not 9th. Which I believe will not be an approved core course for our college- which states the course must "be taught at or above you high school's regular academic level". It may be considered a "course taught below grade level". Any advice or experience with this? Any recommendations for 9th grammar then? I THINK all else looks good.
Thanks so much ladies! Excited for high school!

Just don't list it. It is strong enough to be high school, but what is in the guide for language arts is enough without it.

Typically for college entrance, within your English course description you just list the main topics covered within an English program along with the main composition assignments and some of literature read in the year. This is because the English credit is comprised of literature, composition, and grammar at the high school level. We have course descriptions written for you as part of the high school guides. You can read the course descriptions in our Introduction pages for the high school guides on our website.
You could just turn in the course description along with the grading sheets from the guide if desired.
Blessings,
Carrie
