are very independent, and I will still be teaching my 6 and 8 year old phonics. My soon to be 10 year old son can do most work independently as well. I'm currently using MFW for Kindergarten, and was planning on using it for my sons phonics for first, but honestly I have no idea what I should do at the moment. Any thoughts on this? My husband isn't much help. He thinks whatever decision I make is best, so I figured I'd ask some of you that may have some experience with this. Thanks!

Combining multiple ages and or guides
Hi there! I am trying to prepare for our next school year, and have a few questions. I have 7 ( soon to be
children. They will be 6, 8, 10, 12, and 13 in the new school year. I really love the way HOD looks, and we've been using a CM approach in our homeschool from the beginning. The problem I'm having, is that we are currently studying Early American history, and it seems like most of the guides that I could use next year are for early American. My oldest 2

Re: Combining multiple ages and or guides
You can definitely combine if you wish too. I have chosen to combine my younger 2 kids because they are much more similar in level than my oldest and middle child. Once you review the placement chart and see where your kiddos place, we could then help you better with ideas on how to combine.
