High school science credit advice needed

We are coming back to HOD and plan to finish out high school for our oldest son with HOD. He is currently 7th grade going into 8th grade. He has dysgraphia/dyslexia and we are factoring in the fact that 8th grade right now may be his true 8th grade or we may repeat 8th on paper or go longer for high school if that makes sense. We have to register and test and show grade level work in our outline of material used. Right now, he was pulled from online charter on 2/22/2016 and registered home study as a 7th grader. That means I have a year to show a year's growth and move him up to 8th in our home study program or at the end of this year in May I can test him and if he tests on something like the CAT in grade level abilities then I would renew him in August for next school year as an 8th grader. He had completed 3/4 of 7th grade with our charter so I am pretty sure he will test within the minimum range of percentiles to be considered passing. High school level courses taken in 8th grade can count as high school credits on transcript. Here is what our plan is for his future with HOD through high school--
2016-2017 7th/8th grade (depending on testing) RTR
2017-2018 8th/9th grade MTMM
2018-2019 9th/10th grade WG
2019-2020 10th/11th grade WH
2020-2021 11th/12th grade AM 1
2021-2022 12th (only if he doesn't test well this year to move up in August)
Here is what we have to have for science in our state for graduation and we use Carnegie Units.
Science=4 Units
1 Unit Biology 1
1 Unit Chemistry 1
2 Units from the following: Earth Science, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Agriscience 1 or Agriscience 2, Chemistry 2, Physics 1, Biology 2
Doing HOD as written for WG, WH, and AM 1 as written for science will give Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry. If he "passes" this year, then he will not get to AM2. If he doesn't move up until February, then he will get to AM2 and have his 4 science credits at high school level. My scenario is if he passes and moves up by this August. The only option on our list of choices from the 2 optional science units with regards to the science in HOD would be Earth Science in RTR if he does RTR as an 8th grader.
I need to plan ahead in case he moves up in August. How could I beef up RTR's science to be high school credit worthy Earth Science?
