A little advice?

My son started Preparing a few weeks ago. He didn't have the science book, so now he is on Unit 3, except for the science. We now have the book, but I really don't want to back track. I want to start fresh on Monday in a new unit. What would you do? Just keep going or take time to go back and do the science for the first two weeks?

I would look through the readings for the first two weeks, see if there's anything the child might not be familiar with, and discuss it with them. Then I would start with Unit 3 science. If you think the first 2 weeks' concepts are something your child would really need to go through the lessons on, then maybe I would double up science for 2 weeks to catch up.

Thanks so much for your advice and encouragement. After thinking about it, I decided to just start fresh on Unit 3 I'm glad I did. It's been a good week.
