Schedule for Videotext in MTMM?

I am planning on starting Videotext algebra with my daughter next year in 7th grade. She will be doing Rev to Rev. Looking in the back of Rev to Rev, I saw the nice schedule that Carrie has planned out for Discovering Mathematics. I started wondering: is it worth buying the guide for MTMM a year early for the Videotext schedule, or is this something I can easily do by following Videotext's own plans?

My kids have recently started Videotext as well. It has a very simple plan so you wouldn't need any other lesson plan to follow their program. It is something like this...Watch the video, work the odd problems. Before doing the next day's lesson, your child will take a short quiz on the previous day's lesson. If they pass the quiz, they move on to the next lesson. If not, they repeat the lesson, do the even problems and take another quiz before the next day's lesson. If all is well, you move on repeating those steps. If you still need help, you can call their 800 number.

Since it is a mastery program, you simply make sure your child has thoroughly grasped the concept before moving on. Naturally, some concepts will be mastered easily and others will take a little longer.

I am not sure about the MTMM guide, but in the World Geography guide math box, it just says to use one of the programs recommended or to use your own program. There are no schedules, just that simple reminder. I feel this is because it would be hard to schedule math with solid day by day assignments since students will grasp concepts at their own pace.

Maybe someone using MTMM can chime in and let you know if it is scheduled differently in that guide.
