So, with all the Star Wars hype, I am sure some families have seen it. I only recently let my kids watch the original episodes IV, V & VI. And we have decided to let them see the new one since most people said it wasn't very scary. But.....my kids, being the funny children they are, decided that they need to speak like Yoda for the evening.
Learn grammar you must.
Yes, to speak like Yoda, you must understand grammar. Very fun to explain that sentences somewhat backwards. You start sentences with the action verb or an object. Next comes the subject with either a noun or pronoun. And he ends his sentences with some form of a verb. If there has already been an action verb, then you need to use a helping verb or state of being verb. Needless to say, I am just glad my kids are using R&S because it made it very easy to explain the pattern of his speech and how to turn anything from English into Yoda syntax.

lol, that is too fun! I'll have to pass that along to my niece and nephew who are older than my kiddos and a little further along in grammar! Thanks for sharing!
