I want to buy Resurrection to Reformation, Bigger Hearts for His Glory and Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory. Buying 3 Full levels would cost our family almost $900. My question is how can I break up the cost by buying what we need for the first few weeks-6 weeks then buying the rest as we go? I can't find the breakdown of what is used when to help me figure what we would need to at least start. We are hoping to start right after the holidays..Please help.

I would call HOD directly. They are willing to work with families buying multiple levels at once on a case by case basis.
I know for Beyond and Bigger, you need more of the economy package at the beginning of the guide (all of the history books in Beyond are used early on, and 3 of the 4 Bigger history books are used in the beginning). Storytime (deluxe package with three options - Classic, Boy, and Girl) you use one book for 4 weeks and then change. And you could easily just do one book for both Beyond and Bigger if you are going to be running those guides together as the set up is almost identical.

It would be pretty difficult to try to coordinate something like that (buying only a few books and trying to add them on as needed). There's not a set amount of time each book is used. Probably 2/3 of the books you would need to have right away anyway, and it would be better to go ahead and buy the packages to get the discounts there. HOD (I am told) sometimes does payment plans so maybe you could consider that or discuss it with them. As Stephanie said, for storytime books you could probably do the Beyond and Bigger storytime together (is there a reason BTW that you are going to be doing both of those rather than combining?) Generally it's not recommended to do back-to-back guides, though some have done it and had success, but there are a couple of really intense years when you have children in Bigger and/or Preparing. It's much easier with children who are older and doing a lot of their work independently (though still, combining is usually a good idea if kids are that close in age/skills).

Another thing to consider with the cost is that most of the resources are reusable, so yes, you are investing a lot this first year in buying 3 whole programs, but you will reap a lot of benefit if you keep using it with your younger kids as they come up. I am really thankful to have my guides for my younger kids and have enjoyed reusing them! If you can swing the investment this year, you won't regret it!

(they also have good resale value)

You just need to give HOD a call, leave a message, and HOD gets back to you in 24-48 hours! HOD works with you to get you want you need at a payment you can afford. Package savings are large, and shipping charges would be free. Between these 2 savings and incorporating a payment plan, you will save a lot getting your things through HOD rather than buying things pieced together with multiple shipping charges, no package savings, and often times ending up with the wrong version/copyright of the resources which then don't match the plans. Hope to hear from you soon! :D
