Growing Up Where Jesus Lived by Abeka

Post by Vicki » Wed Jul 30, 2008 6:11 am

I have this book I found during one of my thrifting runs, and it looks very nice.

I'm wondering about how to use this book, and thought about adding it into Preparing when we get there. It is labeled 2.9 for reading level, so it might be a bit below the Preparing level of reading. I still want to integrate this little reader into our studies somehow--I just need to figure out where to put it.

Anyone have any ideas, or has read this book with their children?
Moving along at our own pace, and very happy with it!

You could also put it into Drawn into the Heart of Reading. :D

If there was only one thing I loved about Abeka (used it my first year homeschooling) it would be their readers! The stories were great and IMO can be used for all ages (we used 2nd grade ones)
