CTC Science Unit 1 Day 1

I am having trouble viewing the sample module we are supposed to download from the apologia website. When I open the download pg. 2 shows the title Classification and then underneath the title the word zoologists. The rest of the page is blank. Pages 3-5 of the module are blank as well. My husband tried opening it with various applications receiving similar results. Any other ideas how to resolve this would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Karen Matin

Have you tried saving it to your computer and then opening it once it is saved? That is what I have had to do sometimes.

I just now tried to open the download after saving it to my desktop and still got the same result. I notice as I scroll through the pages they are mostly blank except for an occasional title such as "Try This!" on pg 7 and "Airfoil" on pg 8 but the rest of the page is blank.

I had two last thoughts, one was that your adobe version is too new to view it. Sometimes places have older versions of things that require older versions of Adobe. Or visa versa, theirs is newer than yours and it isn't compatible for whatever reason.
My other thought is to just call the company itself and tell them that you were trying to download the sample and it isn't working. You could then ask them to email you a PDF of the sample.
I am sorry it isn't working for you. That must be very frustrating.

After looking at the apologia website for tech support I found they don't offer tech support for mac users. Since I use a mac I'm guessing that could be the problem. Thank you Nealewill for helping me to at least figure out why it wasn't working out for me.
So, now I was wandering if anyone could lead me to a link/website that has a classification chart similar to the one used in apologia. When I googled animal classification chart there were several different ones to look at. If I could at least narrow that down that would be helpful. Or maybe we may just need to skip it altogether. Do we need that chart later on? If not then I won't worry about it.

Karen, I sent you a PM. If you email me (address in the PM) I can send you the file I have for it. You can see if it will work for you.
Blessings,

Rice,
I did see your pm and replied to it twice and also sent you an email yesterday around 7:00 am. I notice when I look at the pm my replies are not showing up, not sure why. I'm hoping you at least got the email I sent but maybe didn't recognize my address. I'll try replying to your pm again and send another email. I really appreciate you reaching out again to help me.

It is only used one time.
If you would like for me to email you the file, I can do that too. My email address is
daneale@solutionsbyj.com. Feel free to email me directly at that email address and I can send you the file.

Your PM and email both came as a notice that I had a PM at 11:43 and 11:50 last night. The first ones never did come through! Oh well!
I sent you the file and a smaller, one-page PDF of just what you need, so hopefully you could send that to a printer if you can't open the full file.
Blessings,
Larissa

My computer must of been acting up Tuesday morning because I have no record of the pm replies I sent you as well but do of the ones I sent last night. Anyways, I am glad you reached out to me again. The file you sent me worked!

I am able to view the pictures and text of the entire file. We start CTC today so that was perfect timing. Thank you so much!
Blessings,
Karen
