Ret to Ref Girl Bible Quiet Time
My daughter will be 12 in Nov, and she is starting CTC w/ extensions. At our homeschool sale this summer I found a copy of Beautiful Girlhood, and I've been wanting to get the rest of the books that go along with it, in the Bible Quiet Time in Res to Ref. I was wondering if it was a big deal to have her do that study now instead of wait? She's full on going through puberty, even though she hasn't yet experienced all of it yet (but I'd rather get this started before she does). She's definitely developing, has the hormonal mood swings, etc. And she's around kids her same age going through it at church and co-op. So I feel like right now is the time for her to do this study. Is that a big deal? If I had her read through those books now, could I just substitute with something else when she's in Res to Ref?

The great thing about homeschool is you can teach what your dc need. I would definitely do the RestoRef study, using the RestoRef guide, and then when you move on to that curriculum next year, re-asses what God is leading you to for that area. Remember that you can purchase that guide this year and request the discount for the rest of the package when you purchase next year.

I did a similar thing, I started through Beautiful Girlhood with my DD and I bought the Res to Ref Bible study set with From Girl to Woman.... etc in it. Beautiful Girlhood is easy to break up on your own, just do 1 chapter each time, and schedule when you would like to do it. I haven't looked much at the other books to see how you would break them up. I also just got the Res to Ref guide to see what is in there. It may have good questions, discussion, or Bible passages to read along with the reading (so many of the other boxes have this).
I think yes, do it now while her interest is up and you feel she is ready.
