I have a question about substitutions to the packages. Per a suggestion given by Carrie a few months ago while trying to figure this all out, I decided to have my older daughter, who will be doing WG, and younger daughter, who will be doing CTC, work together for Bible study and do Genesis Finding Our Roots. That means I do not need the Rooted and Grounded study or Stepping Heavenward (which we already own, incidentally). I was given a used CTC guide, but still need to gather the books for that one. Can I substitute some of the CTC books for those we don't need in WG? Is it a one to one substitutions or a price to price substitution? The Rooted and Grounded study is fairly expensive and I could get several of the CTC books (Story of the Ancient World, Genesis Finding Our Roots, and What in the World CDs) for that price. Can I substitute all three of those for the Rooted and Grounded books? Does that count as one, two, or three substitutions? I don't need Stepping Heavenward either, so can I substitute something else from CTC for that?

I wrote an email, but didn't get a response. I need to start ordering soon. Thanks for any guidance.

We understand that you may already own some of the titles in our packages, so we are now allowing substitutions within our packages to enable you to always take advantage of the package discounts. This is easy to do online. Simply add the package that contains the book(s) that you already own to your shopping cart, and then enter the title that you wish to substitute in the "Ordering Instructions" box on our website at checkout. You may make a "one for one" substitution with any book that we offer of equal or lesser value to the book(s) you already own, and still receive the package discount!

The following packages are allowed three title substitutions per package:

Emerging Readers - Set
Resurrection to Reformation – Economy
Revival to Revolution – Economy
Missions to Modern Marvels - Economy
World Geography - Economy and Living Library

I read the substitution policy on the website. Still kind of confused.
I am just afraid to purchase and type in my list of substitutions without getting some kind of ok from HOD.

You can place your order on the phone, and we will gladly help you with the substitutions! Just call and leave a message with your phone number(s) - I am returning phone calls tomorrow and will be glad to help you. Please give us 24-48 hours to return calls, as it is the busy season.
