WG mapping with art activity help!

My dd is working on the Activity 1a from unit 4 day 1. It says she is making a map, but it just shows sort of a chart of cuneiform letters...so does this mean it is not necessarily a map--but more just a chart?
She is a little confused and I wasn't sure what to tell her

Does anyone have examples of what they did?
Thanks so much for your help!

In Reading #1 in Mapping the World with Art it talks about these type of "maps". She may not remember since I think she read that in unit 2. These "maps" were cuneiform symbols etched in clay that did serve as maps. So she picks some of the symbols she wants to put on her tablet and that is her "map". So it's not really a chart. I have a picture of his in progress but you can't see it very clearly, but here it is anyway
