Beyond and Reading Made Easy

Brand new HODie and homeschooler here -

I started Reading Made Easy with my rising 1st grader. I will be starting Beyond in about 2-3 weeks and already have a question. Reading Made Easy has you write the words and sounds with a grey and black crayon and also has you circle the blend sounds. My question: Should I also write the Beyond spelling words in the same format?

No, not necessary. By the end of the book they will not be using these helps, actually by lesson 50 or so they read sentences without these helps. Do Beyond words As IS.
