Just wondering......

In CTC, Res to Ref, and Rev to Rev, Diana Waring's books, "What in the World?" are being used. I just wondered if they are used entirely, or just parts of them. I thought one volume of that would be a complete history curriculum, so, with all the other books scheduled in each guide, how would you be able to complete the whole volume within the year? I'm just curious, because if it is something we really like, I would not want to skip any of it.

It has been a while since we completed those guides, but if I remember correctly, they are actually cds. And yes, they are used in their entirety. My son really enjoyed the variety!

Shelly,
Thanks! Listening to CDs is fine. I guess using the books would make it last longer. I, too, like the variety in HOD. I have to stop looking ahead, because I get anxious about using upcoming books, and we have a long way to go before we get to some of them.

I am the same way. I order my oldest stuff when she is about half way through the current guide. Then I read all of her books LOL. I love it! And my dd has really enjoyed the CDs as well. They do somewhat recap what she read the days that it is scheduled but my it is just one more way to be engaged in what she learning. And she is remembering so much from this year already! I am amazing!
