I'll be going to the Teach Them Diligently conference in Nashville, and I'm planning to purchase the Beyond package. Does anyone know if they charge taxes on items purchased at conferences?

If you purchase in person, then yes, they will charge you sales tax.

Do they not charge sales tax on their website? Seems like you have to pay sales tax online now, but yes, by law if they are selling at the conference they have to charge (and pay) sales tax to the state they are selling in.

According to law, taxes must be charged, but they are often offset by the free shipping. HTH!

They are only required to charge sales tax for SD residents since they are in SD and not in any other state. This is true of all online stores. That is why Amazon for example charges sales tax for packages shipped to some states but not all states.
