We are doing bigger and little hearts in the fall, just trying to think this thru. So...................

Regarding Bigger:

What do you do with the spelling index cards after you are done w/ the unit they are in? Do I need to keep them? (how many words in a week?)

What about vocabulary? Is that done on cards too or can that be in a binder under Vocab?

What about science, history and notebooking? Will there be loose papers for these subjects?

Would a binder w/ dividers work?

And for Little hearts:

Will they need a binder for their work? We are doing Reading made Easy, what will we need for that?

Okay, I think thats all!!!

You need index cards for RME...there's lots of writing(parent) letter blends, and putting them together with an ending. Like this:

n + ap=nap
s + ad=sad
b + ag=bag

Then, the child reads it. The only other things I can think right now are posterboard and construction paper for making your Word Worm...at some point you begin adding words to it several days a week. HTH

We use a mini index binder. They write their cards and they go into the mini binder. We use tabs to separate, the stick on type just like people are using to index the teacher manual. They look like this. http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?lev ... 20Supplies

Here are printable index cards. That fit in them if you want to print spelling words on them etc. http://www.shoplet.com/office/db/ESS63504.html

Hope that helps. I know others will have ideas as well. :D
