Awards for 2015

Post by Carrie » Fri Jan 23, 2015 5:04 pm

Ladies,

I just wanted to share that our new catalog is now headed to press, and as part of our catalog this year we mention the awards our guides have been blessed with in 2015. We have won awards in past years too but have never taken time to share them with others. So, this year I thought I'd let you know about these honors to allow you to celebrate with us and to encourage you that many families agree that Heart of Dakota guides are worthwhile! :D

We are so pleased that our entire line of guides is included in Cathy Duffy's new 102 Top Picks for Homeschooling. Our guides were also part of Cathy's 101 Top Picks, and Drawn into the Heart of Reading was in her 100 Top Picks as well. :D

We have also learned that our Heart of Dakota guides won seven Practical Homeschooling Awards this year, so thank you to all of you who graciously voted in those awards! The awards for Heart of Dakota this year from Practical Homeschooling are as follows: :D

First Place tie in the Geography category for Hearts for Him Through High School: World Geography
Second Place tie in the Middle School Curriculum category for our Hearts for Him Thorough Time series
Second Place in the History category for our entire Heart of Dakota curriculum line
Third Place in the Preschool/Readiness category for Little Hands to Heaven
Honorable Mention in the Kindergarten category for Little Hearts for His Glory
Honorable Mention in the Elementary Curriculum category for the Little Hearts series
Honorable Mention in the High School Curriculum category (and our only high school guide that is complete right now is the World Geography guide - which tied for first place in the Geography category)

With so many wonderful homeschool curriculum companies available from which to choose, we are thrilled to be selected for these various awards. :D It is amazing to me that our curriculum has earned awards at every age grouping of guides we write. The Lord has richly blessed us this year. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

This is great news! We have been so blessed with all your hard work. I just wish I would have surrendered sooner :? We have just this week gone full into the three guides we need to be in, and it is such a relief to know that everything is all planned out, all the bases covered, and God is honored in all aspects of our schooling. Thank you so much :D

Congratulations. You know I think that HOD should be first in all categories. I just don't think there is anything better out there. I am so glad we found it at the beginning of our homeschool journey.

I agree, I think HOD should be first in every category! I am using multiple guides and every level is such a blessing to our family. My kids and my husband and I all feel that it has been a huge answer to prayer for us. I'm constantly amazed at how well it fits each of my kids even though they are all so different. We love HOD here at my house. :)

This is more evidence that the Lord is changing lives through HOD. :D His Word will not return void. Carrie, thank you again for using your guides to help parents 'train up (their) children in the way they should go'. :D

Thanks so much, ladies! We are blessed to have all of you to share this journey with us. I am thankful that the Lord is equipping each of us to do his bidding. Homeschooling is not an easy road, and often the fruit of this journey shows itself much later. However, having graduated one student (and now having a second student finishing his sophomore year of high school), I can glimpse some of that fruit. What a blessing that is from the Lord! I appreciate each one of you! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

So proud of you, big sis! :D :D :D And you too, Mike! :D :D :D The way the two of you work together to make all of this happen is truly incredible. The Lord has been oh so good to HOD. :D Without Him, HOD would not exist! :D We are basking in His goodness today.

In Christ,
