On Day 2, 7 and 12 (of the Humor Genre) they are asked to find the page number and sentence where they find 3 unfamiliar words. They are then asked to make a prediction about the meaning of those words. However, there is no instruction to actually look up the meanings or space to write a correct definition. Is this intentional or am I missing something? Is this why it's called Clue Finder and they are merely asked to look at contextual clues for meaning (without finding out if they are right or wrong)?
A quick look shows that the other genres have a different focus on those vocabulary days, but I'm still confused about not looking up the unfamiliar words' actual meaning. (I made DS look them up. )
