We are on unit 5 in LHFHG and we are supposed to make edible playdough with peanut butter in two days. Two of my children have peanut allergies and I was wondering if anyone else out there substituted the peanut butter for something else. This sounds so fun and I don't want my kiddos to miss this activity. Thanks for any suggestions.

We used Sunbutter when my son did it years ago and it worked perfectly!

We used almond butter as a substitute without any problems.

I know some families did cream cheese last year. If you just "google" edible playdough, you will get a lot of options!

We just did this activity and I found a recipe online for chocolate edible playdough that worked perfect and was delicious! My kids really enjoyed this activity and so did I. I love the fact that the activities with HOD are easy to do and flexible enough to tweak if necessary. Thank you HOD!!!
