Anyone use Homeschool Tracker?

I'm very comfortable with HST, but I can't figure out what is the best way to set it up with HOD up for transcripts. (i.e courses, subjects etc.) I'm wondering if anyone has already done this? I'd love to know how you've done it.
Thanks!

I have mine all done and entered into HST for World Geography. I set up the courses and used Carrie's course descriptions and I set it up for weighted grading. I then took all the things that are weighted and assigned them an activity. For example for World Geography I have Oral Narrations, timeline, journal entry, map drawing, geography project, final project and seven wonders project. I then assigned those activities the weight percentage that Carrie has in the introduction. I then went through and entered very abbreviated lesson plans for each day making sure it had the proper activity assigned to it. It was a lot of work. If you don't want to do that you could use Carrie's grading sheets to keep track through the year and then at the end go through and enter just one entry for each activity and put the yearly grade for that activity and then homeschool tracker will calculate the grade for the course, the gpa and have what it needs for the transcript. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your help, Lynn. I played around with it last night. My child is not in an "official" high school guide, so the course descriptions would be a little more difficult for me to come up with. I'm thinking it might be a lot more work than I want to do.

I don't mind doing the work if I really think it's worth it. Just not convinced it is.
Thanks!
