Hello all,
I just received our LHFHG curriculum in the mail today, and while looking through things found that I had a couple questions. With the "Reason for Handwriting" book, it references a teacher's guide. Is that something I was supposed to have ordered and missed? Is it necessary? Also, the "World God Made" and "History for LIttle Pilgrims" books both look like they have pages to color or fill in. Do most of you use do those pages? I wasn't thinking that those books were going to be consumable and don't really want to write in them. Is that a big deal?
Thanks

Amanda

We didn't fill in the history or science books. We just did SOME of the questions orally. Other times we completely skipped the questions. Carrie definitely doesn't intend the students to write in them.

Ok, good to know! And what about the handwriting book? Do I need a teacher's guide?

I did not use the ARFH teacher's guide. The workbook was pretty self-explanatory.
We did not write in the science book. We didn't do the activities or questions in the book, because the guide has discussion or activities also.

We loved LHFHG - you have such fun ahead of you!

We just followed the directions in LHFHG for ARHW (basically just the page numbers), and we didn't color in the history books. Our dc have neat writing and loved their year in LHFHG - so it worked well! HTH!
