RevtoRev Extension package

Post by christina » Wed Jun 04, 2014 11:42 pm

My son will be in 8th grade this fall. I am getting really excited about placing my order for RevtoRev, but keep debating whether to get the extension pack. I do plan to purchase The American Testimony dvd set either way. My concern is that the books might be too mature for him. My son is a very good reader, comprehends well, and isn't overly sensitive. He is though, very immature for his age. I hope to move him ahead a guide to WG for 9th grade, so I want to prepare him well this year for the jump in skills to high school level work.

We will be doing the same thing with our current 8th grader. She will do Rev2Rev for 8th and move to WG for 9th. We are not doing the extensions. We are doing Algebra 1, Physical Science, and German for high school credit instead.

I had not thought about using the physical science for high school credit. I feel a little lost when thinking about high school. Did your dd use the science in RevtoRev as is for the high school credit? I will be ordering the advanced curriculum kit for my son.

We are not using the Physical Science from Rev2Rev. We had the opportunity for in-class labs with our co-op using a different Physical Science. The advanced curriculum is supposed to be eligible of a high school credit though. :)
