What style cursive is Cheerful Cursive? I have seen that there is the kind that starts all the lower case letters on the baseline and some start some of the letters on the midline and now there is also a New American Cursive. I haven't been able to tell what style Cheerful Cursive is.

All lower case cursive letters are started on the baseline. It is loopy cursive with the Q that looks like a 2 and the Z looks like.... weird. Capital S and G with the loops.
I hope this helps.

I should say, there are some letters that end on the midline, and therefore adaptations of the lowercase letters that also start on midline - v I know is one of them. All I know is this is exactly the cursive I learned as a kid.

I would agree with Melissa. This cursive is the same type of cursive that I learned as a kid. Also, this cursive book not only teaches the kids to write cursive but to read cursive. It gives variations for the letters in the book for writing in cursive. I really like it. Seems very natural of a flow for teaching them cursive.

I find it similar to Zaner-Bloser.
