I heard this TWICE today during two different subjects! This is our first week with Beyond. We just finished Little Hearts, and I am loving the progression. My son isn't a huge fan of school, only because he'd rather be playing or watching TV or something other than sitting still, but I think it is really growing on him! He is loving the emerging readers and the history book and the read aloud. Success!!! Thank you, HOD!!!

That is too funny! My kids also love the selection. Tonight my youngest dd is going through all of the alternative emerging readers in Beyond and after she finished her book tonight she says, "Yes!!! What is the next book mom?" And my two youngest are always fighting over who can read what to me. My son picked up the book Tornado again and he is re-reading it to me. He LOVES that book!

Awww! This is good to hear. We are on chapter 19 of The Reading Lesson and sooooooooooooooooo (LOL) looking forward to "real" books. Almost there!

So far it seems that TRL really prepares them well for the emerging readers. I'm actually pretty surprised how well the transition has gone!
