Suggestions for Pre-Algebra after MUS

My oldest will complete MUS Zeta this next school year (his 6th grade year). I've seen Carrie's suggestions for Algebra (Foerster's, VideoText, No Nonsense) and am leaning towards Foerster's but am wondering what to do for 7th grade? I'm not sure whether to just use MUS Pre-Algebra and then make the switch for Algebra 1 or if there is a better Pre-Algebra option? We have used MUS since the Primer level and have loved it. We were already using it when I found HOD and decided to just stick with it. However, I do have concerns with the upper levels and want to switch...just not sure when to do it.

You could use MUS's pre-algebra for 7th grade, and then do Foerster's Algebra in 8th? Just a thought...

Have you considered Teaching Textbooks? We love it!

I have heard good things about Teaching Textbooks but don't think I want to go that route for just one year. I guess I'm just looking for a good prep course before we get to Foerster's Algebra I. Or if anyone has used MUS Pre-Algebra and found it sufficient, that would be helpful to know too. Any other ideas/suggestions?

I have heard that MUS is quite a step down in thinking skills compared to Singapore. I'd considered using it for a year between Singapore 6B and Foerster's, but was told I'd likely be sorely disappointed, so I opted not to.
However, coming from MUS, it seems like a logical choice.
