Still praying for next years cirriculum

Post by lisaha1 » Tue May 06, 2014 8:51 am

I'm still around reading posts and praying about next year's cirriculum. I've been chatting with my husband about it also as we decide what to do. We can see the need to split our oldest into her own guide as she heads into 8th grade, possibly keep the three middle boys together, or just the two and put the two youngest together. It would be a big change from all studying together, but I can see where the older children are not being challenged enough and the younger are missing out. It's too big of an age gap from age 3-13 ;)
I would have been more active on the boards, but last week we found out that my baby's heartbeat has stopped and I have and continue having terrible morning sickness an have been stuck in bed. Please pray for our family. School has stopped and we are just surviving, leaning in The Lord as He carries is through this.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll be praying for you as you walk this road.

How old are your kiddos? I have three boys combined and I love it . The youngest is bright, so it works out well for us. I add a few things for the oldest, and I'm excited about continuing this way.

I'm sorry about your baby. How are you? I've lost three babies and have had four healthy children. Every time I hear about or meet someone or find out about someone who miscarries, I'm taken back to that loss. I know what you mean about just surviving. When you're ready to talk about splitting the kids and what to do about next year's curriculum, please feel free to email me directly at elifehrman@gmail.com. We split our oldest two this year for the first time and I've been pleasantly surprised at how well the year has gone (oldest is now in week 27 of Rev-Rev).

Peace to You,
Elizabeth

It is OK just to hold on. I have lost two as well. It is hard to think about anything else for a while, and of course, you always remember. I might not make a decision right now. Although it may be a good decision, I would wait just a bit.
