If I do Bigger for several children (4)some with extensions and DITHER, do I need to buy double of any of the books?
I know language and math are seperate for each.

I am doing Bigger with four but since we do it read aloud with the extension pack I can only really make a semi educated guess. For me I think it would depend on how quick my children read that had the extension pack and if there were any with reading difficulties. I am more of the mind set that I would try to make it work for the sake of being frugal. I might ask Carrie if she thought it really mattered if they read books out of order or not to avoid having too many on the same book. I think if money were no object and I had 3-4 reading the same book I would get a second set. I have juggled two reading the same book several times and it works well. I have other times decided it was too much reading time to juggle and the books were cheap enough especially if the set would be used again by multiple children as happens for us.
Not much help but I guess that would be some of the thought process I would have.
Someone else will come along with something better.

For DITHR, your kiddos can read different books within the same genre to help out with the book-sharing there.
As far as the Extension Pack goes, if you have two sharing, it will probably be alright to just schedule them to do their readings at very different times of the day and keep the books all in one place so the next person can find the needed book. The Extension Pack books do coordinate well with the plans as scheduled in Bigger, so you would want to keep on schedule with those.
Blessings,
