Will the new World History program be available to view at the Arlington, TX convention next weekend?

I know the guide won't be ready for some time, but will the books and different packages be available to look at? Will there be a sample first week to view?

I am so excited about using this for one of my kids next year and can't wait to see everything.

Arlington is quite a drive from where I live, but I'm willing to make the trip if I can see all the new stuff. :D

Can anyone that has been to one of the recent conventions let me know? Thanks a bunch!

At the Cincinnati convention they had everything there to view, just not the guide of course, but all the books.

Allison,

We will have the books there for the new guide to view, including all of the various packages. We also have the new guide's section of the catalog with book descriptions and package pricing done for you to take a brochure with that information home with you. :D

I will HAVE to find a way to go to a conference that HOD is at next spring. I want the information early!!! :)

Is there a list somewhere of what conferences they went to this year? or which they plan to be at next year?

I've never gone to a homeschool conference yet, but always want to...

14yo DS using World Geography for 9th grade
13yo DS using Rev to Rev for 7th grade
10yo DD using Creation to Christ for 5th grade
8yo DD using Bigger for 3rd grade
7yo DD using Beyond Hearts for 2nd grade

Oh, I want to live near a convention! Elaine is using this guide in the fall; I would love to have this information. Will it be a long time before it is up on the boards?

Thank you! I can't wait to see all those books! :D :D :D

StillJulie, there is a link at the top of HOD's main web page that says "conferences", or something like that. Click on it and it will show you the conferences and dates that HOD will be attending this year. I believe Carrier said that they were going to fewer places this year because the writing of the new guide is taking priority. :)
