We are trying to do Worthy Words for this week and it is a speech by the Ayatollah Khomeini and the link to read it isn't working. I tried a Google search and I can't find the speech anywhere. Worthy Words is one of our favorite parts of the week and we are disappointed to miss it. Has anyone had any luck finding the speech anywhere else?

Well, I guess we will be asking the same question next week...so I am interested in the answer, but obviously no help.

We were able to find an article online that we used. It might not have been the same article, but it seemed a good fit. I did a google search for the name plus topics mentioned in the questions or summary note for that block and picked what seemed to match best.

If the link above gets deleted, do a google search for 'We Fight Censorship' organization website and then search for an article on the 'Irony in Iran: Ayatollah Khomeini Censored by His Own Followers.' Scrolling down a little you will find a transcription of his speech (says first 40 minutes of his speech).

This guide is not that old to have links that don't work. We had a handful that happened this way. Instead of links I really wish there was a Worthy Words section in the appendix containing the online articles bring used, or a separate pdf file/booklet we could get for those and the other links the guide uses. My dd found the broken links a bit frustrating. The time spent trying to find the articles did bring a bit of a disruption in our school day with me having to stop working with my 11 or 8 yo to help the 14yo locate what to use.

Thanks for the heads-up! We are only going into week 30 this coming week, but it's good to know.
