Singapore Math DM 1A/1B VS. 7A/7B?

Can anyone give insight into the differences between Singapore Discovering Mathematics 1A/1B and 7A/7B? I know 1A/1B has been discontinued, but I have found that christianbook.com is selling it. I don't like what I've seen and heard regarding Singapore 7A/7B, and had thought I wouldn't even consider Singapore after 6B. Now that I have come across 1A/1B on Christianbook, I am considering it as an option. Has anyone used 1A/1B with success? Our plan would be to go on to Foerster Algebra afterwards. Thanks.

From what I have read, the 7A/B books are CCS aligned, replacing the 1A/B books. Book 8 replaces book 2, and so on.
Specifics can be found on the Singapore math site.

Thank you, Stephanie! I had actually started reading this thread earlier today, got distracted, closed all my windows, and totally forgot about it! I think it confirms my instinct to steer away from Singapore when my daughter finishes 6B in a few months. Which is what I thought I had decided until I saw DM 1A/1B in my Christianbook.com catalog last night! Then it got me to thinking about it again and second guessing myself.
