We can't get anything to drip through the filter paper. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes. My dh finally added a little water to it because he thought in the picture it looked like there was a lot more liquid than what he got. It worked wonderfully then and if you click on my blog link you can see the picture of the dna in the test tube.
