Ladies,
As many of you know, Carrie and Julie’s father, Ken, had been battling pancreatic cancer for about two years. Yesterday afternoon, the Lord called him home. We appreciate all of the encouraging prayers and emails that have come our way these last few years as we went through this tough time. We have been truly blessed.
I want to share the verse that our youngest son has been memorizing this week in school. He is in Unit 14 of Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory:
Matthew 25:21 – His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”
Carrie and Julie are sure that these words welcomed Ken into heaven yesterday afternoon.

Praying for you all for this at time and that God's peace be with your family.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15
Carrie and Julie's Dad's death is an end for all who linger here, but is a wonderful beginning for him as he begins eternity with the One who looks upon his entrance into heaven as precious.
Praying for comfort for you all and praising God that this is also a time of rejoicing. "We do not sorrow as those who have no hope." Praise God!
In His love,
RuthAnn

Praise God that their dad is with Him now and feeling no more pain.
My sympathies to the family and prayers for them as they mourn the loss of a powerful, godly influence and beloved one.

We'll definitely be uplifting your sweet family in prayer, especially now. So sorry for your loss, but am so very thankful that he's rejoicing in the presence of the Lord right now!
It is a blessing all the many ways that the Lord brings us peace and comfort. Even by a precious verse that was learned in school, at just such a time as this. When we lost my mom to cancer two years ago, we witnessed the Lord working in such amazing ways through the whole situation. Be comforted and know that He is with you, holding you all up right now, and will bring you through this.
With much love and prayers....

That is so beautifully appropriate.
We'll be praying during this difficult time.

You are definitely in our prayers. It is never easy losing one you love so much. I pray you will feel the arms of our Lord surrounding you and holding you up during this time and in the weeks and months ahead. I remember when we lost my father to cancer eleven years ago and how the ache was intense, even though we knew the time was approaching. I am so glad your father made it through the holidays and you were able to have one more Christmas with him, before the Lord took him home. May you feel our Lord's comfort in a very special way as you grieve.

Carrie, Julie, & family - May the Holy Spirit comfort you in this time of loss. While we grieve because we miss our loved ones when they pass on to Heaven, it is a blessing to know that, because of Jesus, we can one day be with them again. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
A note from Angie:
I love you and I am praying for you.
love Angie

I am reading this in tears as you have shared how much you loved your father, but I am rejoicing that you will see him again. We will be praying for you. "For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face..." 1 Corinthians 13:12.

Lord,
I lift this family to you and ask for your blessing of warmth of heart, of comfort, of Your peace that passes our understanding, and of celebration in memories. Please encourage their thoughts of what your glory is like and how happy their father must be in your care. Please help them spend time together and enjoy the bonds of family time you provide for their encouragement and comfort. Thank you Jesus, Amen
