You know you have the #1 curriculum when

You can successfully school with a simultaneous power outage (due to ice storm) and the school room completely torn up for repairs and new carpet. We started with a stack of books on the kitchen island and a battery-operated camping lantern (which fortunately still had juice left). The stack of books quickly became a big mess of books, but I clung to my two guides for dear life and we made it through. The only mishap was we somehow forgot to do the spelling list with my younger in Beyond. All in all I think we were successful. Thank you HOD! Happy holidays to you all and thanking Carrie and her family, along with Julie and her family for all they do to give us an awesome curriculum!

Oh my! I can visualize this schooling moment based on your post! We had a power outage last year and schooled and lived in one room for several days because it had the gas fireplace (so we had heat and a little light by the fire at night). Applause to you for forging on! Happy holidays and may you be blessed with power!

Blessings,
Carrie
