) scared me to bits so I chose something else. I'm still not sure where we will end up according to curriculum choices but I'd like to ask a question about placement. Ideally, if we later go with HOD I'd like to combine my [then] 6th and 7th graders. I believe it will be possible to buy the guide for the younger student and get the extension for the older. With that said, we have not done any diagramming so would it be fine to use a guide that expects the student to know how to diagram? He fits the other guidelines. We would probably not use R&S English anyway, which is where I assume the diagramming would come from. We will probably stick with Intermediate Language Lessons, which does not teach diagramming.
