A joyful moment

I have combined my oldest 3 since LHFHG, and we started CTC this fall. I've tried to separate my first born a few times, but was unsuccessful for various reasons, mostly time constraints. Well, one month into it, the kids were complaining about having to share books and I finally decided to try separating again, and putting my oldest in R2R. I order it last week and it arrived in two days!!!
We started on Monday, and it has been so wonderful! We're on unit one, day 2, and she just loves the Beautiful Girlhood Bible study. Today at lunch, she handed me what turned out to be a love letter she had written, and it was sealed with candle wax (something the kids learned in either Beyond or Bigger). She told me twice today how much she loves doing school with me, and how she finds this time period interesting. All I can say is WOW! I really felt like she was needing more, but I didn't expect this!
I don't know if I'll be able to manage four manuals, but we're going to try. If it doesn't work, the materials will be here waiting for us for next year.
I am so thankful for the amazing books and resources Carrie picks out. After all these years, I've never been disappointed.
Gratefully...
