Carrie or anyone else,

How are the credits planned for the upcoming high school guides? Specifically, how are the credits with US History divided? Will it end up giving a total of 2 credits in US History after all four guides are completed? Is each of the last two guides worth .5 or 1 History credit each? What about US Government and Economics and Personal Finance? .5 for Gov.; .5 Econ., and .5 Personal Finance?? I am trying to figure this all out. I can't find it listed anywhere. Help!!

Thank you! :D

I know that government and economics are normally 1/2 credits each. I would assume that the second item in each history focus is 1/2 credit, just like world religions is for the first guide. And I would also guess that it is 1 credit of history per guide. Many states actually require 2 years of US history, so I would bet that that is the plan.

Liz,

Right now, we are thinking that the guides will include 1 full credit in US History each of the final two years (divided into two different time periods on the transcript). The Economics, Government, and Personal Finance will each be 1/2 credit. :D

Blessings,
