hi everyone!
my name is Barbara, friend of Kendra's
we'll be blessed to be starting HOD after the New Year!
i've been homeschooling since 1996-97? my 17 yr old was in the first grade (i guess i need to brush up on math) and he's been in all schools, my youngest two are exclusive homeschoolers. My oldest two are graduted from private and public school and on their own in the big world The boys are 8 and 5 (my older ones are 24, 20 and almost 18)
i've used....well, it FEELS like everything out there we used Sonlight for a while with the older ones, and so far we've ben searching with the younger two. HOD looks like a great fit!
i guess we are relaxed schoolers...i love Charlotte Mason/Waldorf methods, my boys LOVE to hear storoies, books on tape, etc. We also love to play games, play online, cook and be outside
we are currently in the Poconos, moving in the late Spring to the Denver area
so i am off to ask questions about the best packages to buy! thanks for listening!
