The kids wanted me to share their descriptive paragraphs that they just finished.
John: A manatee is a giant, gray mammal. It paddles with its rounded flippers and uses its tail as a rudder. They seem to smile happily as they sleep. These aquatic mammals have long, pointy whiskers like a cat. A manatee can float gracefully in a tank of water. This giant also consumes lettuce. A manatee is a picture of God's greatness.
Gracie: My doll is very beautiful. Elisabeth has golden silky hair and a pair of blue eyes. She lovingly greets you with a smile that is rosey and pink. A fine blue dress with silver lines adorns her as her clothing. She looks quite lovely.
