Carrie,
In the introduction to World Geography, when you listed the separate aspects to the grading of the subjects,
you put in parenthesis, % of total grade. How do you figure this out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From what I read, I think you assign a number grade per blank. Then you use those to get a total grade per category (ones that say __ percent of total grade) by taking the "normal" average. Then you multiply those grades by the percents to get the course grade.
So, if we were to use World Religion and Cultures as an example:
You would average the graphic organizes by adding them and then dividing by 10. Let's say that was a 95%.
Then the reflections you would add and divide by 6. Let's say that was 93%.
Oral Narrations - 96%
Bookmark Prompts - 92%
"At the Feet of the Rabbi" - 94%
95x.30+93x.25+96x.15+92x.20+94x.10 = 93.95 - the course grade.

Does that help?
