Using Encyclopedias?

Post by faiths13 » Thu Aug 22, 2013 4:38 pm

I am wondering if we will need to use any encylopedias with HOD. I have found several encyclopedias that I bought last year (before we found Christ) and I was looking through them to realize they all have an evolution slant to them. So I was thinking of just getting rid of them (because I can trade them at a local homeschool store) but then I wasn't sure if I should keep them in case we need them? Anyway I have 4 boys I am starting with HOD, ages 4, 6, 12 & 14. I have 3 science and 2 history encyclopedias.

You will use Encyclopedias for history research, I have read these particularly about CTC

I think I will just pay to use an online Encyclopedia since I don't want to use Wikipedia and don't want a huge expensive book (or many) on my shelf. Though Usborne does make some great books!

Hope this helps
