Our first week of Little Hearts

We just finished our first week of Little Hearts for His Glory. My 6 yo DS is loving it!!!!! He loves each and every part of our day. He loves the wonderful math exploration activities (thanks to Beyond). He loves the science activities and the bible time. He asks everyday for me to turn on the music cd so he can hear "Let the little children come to me." and he wants to listen to it all during our school time. He loves animals, so he's actually enjoying the Fine Motor skills book...and this is a kid who normally doesn't like any kind of writing. His favorite parts of the day are HISTORY and RHYMES. Thank you so much for such a wonderful curriculum. We are still getting used to our new schedule and the flow of Little Hearts, but we are loving it so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're ALMOST finished week 2 in LHFHG. My girl seems to be doing well in it as well. Surprising enough reading about Reddy Fox is about her favorite and it doesn't even have pictures! Today, when we made the tin foil boats to float in the bathtub, her 5th and 6th grade brothers joined her as well. What fun. She also enjoys the rhymes. So thankful for such an easy open and go curriculum, but one that is very rich in learning experiences.
