The last week of LHFHG had us ROLLING today!

Post by MelInKansas » Wed Aug 14, 2013 10:01 pm

I just wanted to share our moment today. I was doing the rhyme in week 34 of LHFHG with my DD and it really looked and felt like we were in a musical! All of my children were singing the song (zippedy doo dah is the tune and part of the song).

Then we so enjoyed the activity of the life cycle of a butterfly. I confess when my oldest did LHFHG I didn't do the last 3 weeks of it.... oh the fun we missed out on! Carrie saved the best for last!

That is reeeeeally cute. :)

We're on unit 33.3 today and the kids had a blast too. Little sis joined in for the sailing to Boston Harbor. I put them in a plastic storage tub (disregard how weird that just sounded...) and pulled them around on a blue quilt. I know the directions didn't say I HAD to actually pull them but we have hardwood smooth floors so it was easy... enough. LOL. Okay, they were heavier but they said I was the "best Ma EVER!" So it's all good. 8). "Land Ho!!"

I lovie this program, I am looking forward to doing it with my dd! I just know its goina be suuuuper fun, she is so enthusiastic. :)
