Last year we did Beyond with about half of R&S 2. This year we are starting Bigger for 3rd grade. Should I go ahead and continue R&S 2 or just go on to 3, Or should we wait for 3 to go with Preparing. I get a little confused with the progression of R&S English
Thanks.

Bigger has Rod and Staff 2 scheduled (Preparing to Build is the 2nd grade grammar book). Preparing has both 3rd and 4th grade options are scheduled. So, I would just keep going with 2 and finish it out. If you get done before the end of the year, pick up the 3rd grade book (Beginning Wisely).

Bigger has R&S 2 scheduled throughout, to finish the whole book while you do Bigger. So I would think you would keep going with R&S 2 (plus I don't think you could skip right to 3 having done only half of 2) at his pace and if you finish it up in the middle of Bigger then get R&S 3 with the teacher's book. 3 is the first level they suggest the teacher's book, I haven't looked at what they have you do with it yet, but I guess it is helpful so you can teach.... right?

I'd keep going with 2 after a quick review.
