for Res to Ref...
It looks like this resource was updated in February of 2013. Has anyone looked to see (or is there an update) that tells how that affects the page numbers that we're to print (as listed in the intro of the Res to Ref guide)?

It is probably an update with the MLA style of documenting sources. Don't quote me on that though!

okay... I think everything I printed off is probably right then. The one page I wasn't as sure about was a page of rules regarding quotation marks. That does sound vaguely familiar from what I did two years ago (when my oldest was in this guide), so I think it's what I want. This year I'll be sure to save/organize stuff better for the following children. A couple years ago I was still in survival mode... LOL

I ordered the books earlier and see that they have been reprinted so I don't know if the student book (2013) will match my 2010 teacher manual. To avoid the problems with this I made copy of student manual before kiddo marked it up. I will go through this guide again in 4-5 years and will have to buy both TM& student workbook if I hadn't done this. The student book says, "You may freely copy our material for use by multiple children within immediate family." So that is what I did. Will this also be an issue with what resources you have? Just a heads up if you haven't marked in the 2010 book you may want to make family copies.
I share my curriculum with another family but I plan on having them get the new 2013 student book & teacher manual. I don't want to buy the combo again since I haven't used it yet. I am looking forward to starting RTR in fall with 6th grade boy who turned 11, 3 weeks ago.
