Are we allowed to compare math programs here?
We are trying to decide between these two.
Edited to say that we did Saxon this year.
Thanks!

I'm planning on using teaching textbooks next year with my 1 and 14 year olds.

I've never been a saxon fan. :/

We're using TT next year. Saxon is just too
bland for us. I like the repetition, but don't
care for the layout of Saxon's books. TT is much more
user friendly, IMHO.

We used TT for Pre-Algebra and loved it! This year we used a traditional textbook for Algebra I (mainly because I had it sitting on the shelf) and regretted not continuing with TT. We're definitely going back to Teaching Textbooks for Geometry next year.

TT family here too! We've used Algebra 1 and 2, and will use Geometry this year.

Thank you for the replies so far. I appreciate it.
I posted the question because my two older children are working above grade level in math so they have out grown the recommendations for Singapore, and they will be using Preparing. I thought it was "on topic" and "HOD" related enough to post, but I was unsure.
With that said though, I also should have added more detail to my question. I was really wanting to know what the difference is between the two (how things are taught (mastery or spiral, time it takes to do it, etc.).
And....we have now made our decision. Thanks!
Blessings,
Missy
