Adding In or Subbing science questions

Hi,
I have decided to use RevtoRev this fall for my 7th and 9th graders. Before I decided I already bought Apologia General science for my 7th grader and Apologia Physical science for my 9th grader. I would really like to still be able to use them. I mostly want to use the General science because my ds hasn't done anything with the human body yet. (well neither of them really). So I was thinking maybe I could do the last part of General science over the rest of the summer (f there is time) and them use the Physical science alongside the HOD science in the fall. But Im not sure if that will be too much science for them. My oldest likes some science, depending on his interests, and my other son seems to like it pretty well. Any suggestions?

No answer to this yet? I'm bumping this because I've got a similar question.

I haven't done Rev2Rev but both my son and I are looking forward to the science in the guide. This is physical science. The World History High School guide is physics & chemistry and the lab has directions/can be used with Apologia Physical science & Apologia General Science. It would seem like too much science especially done over the summer and you would be going over the material in high school World guide. For your 9th grader there is an advanced log for Exploration Education and your 7th grader can use intermediate guide. The 7th grader is on track to hit high school guide in 9th grade, but you will have to plan out the science for your current 9th grader. The science in advanced log is intended for 9th grader so that will be good to use and long term plan the rest later.
My 2 daughters have graduated high school with non traditional science but has been a good fit for their interests. They got discouraged by math in chemistry so after Biology they did Marine Biology, human anatomy, and meteorology (at college). My son loves science and chemistry so I plan to follow the plan charted in HOD for his high school. That is the advantage of hs, you can decide what will fit your family. May God give you wisdom to guide your path.

I would do one or the other. Both would be too much, in my opinion. I have used both. We really like Education Exploration, and you would have the advantage of doing both children together.
