Please recommend a good science library set

I am looking for a set of science books to use for research, fun, and supplementation for the 9-12yo range. Does anyone here have something they would recommend? It would be wonderful if it were from a Christian publisher, but I have not been able to find one. I want something that has books for the different areas of science. I already have Masterbooks'
A World of Science, which I like a lot, and Usborne's Science Encyclopedia, which is great for the most part, but has content I don't agree with and some that is too mature for my daughter's age.

Also, neither are as in-depth as I'd like.
Thanks.

I haven't used them, but I have heard great things about Answers in Genesis for science books. They have an explorers series meant for 10 and up that has a book per subject area (physics, chemistry, math, etc).

Are those the Tiner books? We have a few of those, and they are wonderful.

HOD uses some of them. I guess I am wanting more of a colorful reference library, though. Usborne has some that I found today, but they look like they are out of print, now. Also, Usborne always seems to include that annoying evolutionary content.

Yes, those are the Tinor ones. You might want to check out AiG just to see if they have anything else that would work. I check ICR, and I couldn't find anything there. Those are the two places I tend to go for science things, but my kids are younger (and hence not researching yet).
