Alicia,
We're getting on a plane for our last convention this afternoon, but I know there are many moms of high schoolers on our board who would love to talk through this with you!
It's important to begin with the placement chart first to see where your upcoming 9th grader fits best placement-wise. This is because our guides work best when a child can truly do what is being asked in a guide. To begin the process of talking through possible placement options, take a look at mainly the first page of the placement chart. For now, set aside any thought of where you are in your study of history and just concentrate on the 3R's for placement. Then, pop back and share your thoughts as to where your child fits best with that in mind.
