Singapore math 1a 1b standards ed?

Post by livethanks » Thu May 23, 2013 11:20 am

Hi,
I imagine someone has addressed this somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'll just ask again. I have been using Singapore Math 1a and 1b standards ed. with my daughter this year, I am wondering if it will be a problem to use the standards edition books when I start doing the BLHFHG next year? I looked at the boxes and it seems to still track with the pages, but does anyone know for sure if there is a problem with that? Thanks! :D

Hi livethanks! I think this link may be helpful in considering next year, as it explains why HOD chose the Primary editions...

We have done the hands-on math in Beyond twice now with Primary 1A/1B, and the results have been great! One of our sons is now doing Algebra 1 for high school, having completed Primary 1A through 6B through the years, and our other son is now doing 4B, having completed Primary 1A through 4A previously. The plans coincide so well with them. I hope something here helps!
