I was at our IL Homeschool Convention yesterday and at one of the main vendor tables somone was trying to decide on LHFHG and I told her that is what we used this past year and how much we loved it. We talked for about 5 minutes and I gave her my review and she then purchased it!! She was so grateful I was there when I was as she was wondering about a couple of things, like what reading program to use and such and I was able to answer her "deciding factor" questions and she bought it!!

And the great thing is you know she will love it!

BTW my husband would love it if he could call me the "Frugal Family Manager"

That is so cute. But honestly that is a talent I am trying to cultivate.

That is soooo true Mary! Most don't hear. I have found that most folks don't want to know about one more program, so I just remain silent unless they give me some clue that they are searching. Then they better watch out cuz I will be talking 90 to nothing!!

Which convention were you at? I think I have seen your name in one of my yahoo groups. Where in IL are you from? I live in Shelbyville. I am so glad that you had a chance to share HOD with someone and it swayed them. God had you in that spot at that moment for just that reason. Isn't it great to see how he guides us even in the everyday matters of life!

I let my girlfriend look at my HOD stuff and really talked it up to her, and today at our conference she bought a WHOLE bunch of stuff!

How fun, ladies!

Now, you're able to get a glimpse of why we do what we do. It is such a blessing to be able to help someone, trusting that the Lord brings those who need what we have to us.

We hold each of you in our hearts all throughout the year, and it is all of you I'm thinking of as we write!
